Vasilisa the Brave Mandrake Spirit Doll

$350.00
sold out

Vasilisa the Brave was created in the lead up to Spring here in lutruwita / Tasmania and has stayed with me until the eve of Beltane. She is filled with mandrake root and was created through inspiration of the story of Vasilisa and her search for Baba Yaga. She was created to be a familiar that you can carry with you in your pocket just like Vasilisa’s magical doll. She has full moveable arms and legs and was woven from corriedale wool from Australia. Her hair is woven from a fibre made from roses. She wears a skull made from howlite to symbolise the wisdom gained from braving the dark forest to learn from Baba Yaga. She was made by hand with love.
