The Solstice plant spirit dolls were created between the Equinox and Winter Solstice. The Winter Queen is the largest doll, she was created to be an Altar Doll to care for her keeper and family. She is filled with Hawthorn berries and her dress is made from Norwegian wool blended with bamboo fibres. She wears the antlers of the Deer wrapped in silk and woven with fern hair fibres. Her hair is woven from a fibre made from seaweed. Around her neck is a large quartz crystal on a cord made from recycled sari silk. She was made by hand with love and completed on the Eve of Solstice.
