The Samhain Grandmother doll is part of a small family of plant spirit dolls created over the period of Samhain here in lutruwita / Tasmania. She holds a herb bundle inside her body filled with the dreaming herb Mugwort. She wears the antlers of the Deer in her hair and a shell on a cord woven from nettle around her neck. Her dress is woven from wool blended with silk. She was made by hand with love.
