Grandmother's Shawl Doll

$390.00
sold out

The Grandmother’s Shawl plant spirit doll is part of a family of dolls completed on the Eve of the Solstice. Inside her body she is filled with the plant motherwort also known as ‘lionheart’ or ‘lion tail’. I see this doll as one who carries the wisdom of the Grandmothers. She wears a handwoven shawl made from scraps of pure wool from a local woollen mill here in Tasmania. Her hair is woven from a silver fibre made from roses. She was made by hand with love.
