The Imbolc plant spirit dolls were created over a 2 month period and completed on the eve of Imbolc here in lutruwita / Tasmania in the Southern Hemisphere. The Birch Owl sister is one of 2 owl dolls and she is filled with birch, rosemary and lady’s mantle. She is dressed in hand woven scraps of textiles dyed naturally with the ancient plant dye madder. She is made purely from wool and was made by hand with love.
