The Hollyhock Plant Sister dolls were created over a 2 month period in Autumn and completed after the new moon in May in my home in lutruwita / Tasmania. They are filled with hollyhock seeds from my garden and pine resin. Isobel is one of the 2 Fox sisters dedicated to my friend and mentor, Australian artist Vali Myers. She wears a talisman of 2 cowrie shells and a bead of lava on a cord made from nettle fibre. She is made purely from wool and silk. She was made by hand with love.
