The Halloween Dolls were completed on the eve of Samhain. They were created here in my Tasmanian home on the threshold of Beltane to connect to their Samhain ancestors in the north. The Nettle Priestess is filled with dried nettle and has leaves and vines woven in Corriedale wool over her tunic. Her hair is woven from a plant fibre called Ramie from the Nettle family. She wears green antlers of her familiar the Deer. She was made by hand with love.
