The Halloween Dolls were completed on the eve of Samhain. They were created here in my Tasmanian home on the threshold of Beltane to connect to their Samhain ancestors in the north. The Nettle Haired Green Witch has hair woven from fibre made from nettles and is filled with dried nettles inside her belly. She wears a necklace of prehnite beads and her dress and shawl are woven from Corriedale wool. She was made by hand with love.
