The Halloween Dolls were completed on the eve of Samhain. They were created here in my Tasmanian home on the threshold of Beltane to connect to their Samhain ancestors in the north. The Witch Sister has golden hair woven from ancestral wool from the Faroe Islands. She is filled with nettle and her dress and shawl are made from Australian Corriedale wool. Around her neck on a string of nettle is a stone of agate. She was made by hand with love.
