Elizabeth Fox Yarrow Plant Doll
The Fox Sisters are spirit dolls that were completed at the Equinox and are filled with dried Yarrow. There are 5 friends ‘close as sisters’ who each have the gift of sight. Elizabeth is a much taller and larger doll than her sisters. She is an Augury and her gift of sight enables her to read the messages and signs in the bird world and in their flight paths. She is woven from Corriedale and wool from New Zealand woven with silk. She is adorned with seed pearls. The blue of the eye over her heart is woven from wool dyed naturally with Woad. She was completed at the Equinox and made by hand with love.
