The Little Ghost Faerie Doll
The Little Ghost plant spirit doll is part of a family of dolls completed over Winter. Inside her body she is filled with the plant motherwort also known as ‘lionheart’ or ‘lion tail’. I see this doll a faerie elemental with memories of another time perhaps Victorian. She wears handmade tatted (an old lace making craft) headpiece and neck ruffle created by our friend Alice Savage. She has silver glitter thread in her eyes and her shawl, hair and dress are woven with silk. Her dress is adorned with green vines and orange fruit. She was made by hand with love.
