The Apple Pickers are ‘the good people’ faerie folk plant spirit dolls created between the Solstice and Lughnasadh. They tend to the orchard and will help to tend to the life of their new keeper. The Hollyhock doll is filled with dried hollyhock flowers from my garden and she wears an Owl Mask woven in wool from the Shetlands Isles dyed naturally with lichen. Over belly is a sigil to represent the Pictish cup and ring mark carvings in Scotland and a moonstone and silver pendant. Her hair is woven from black Welsh wool. She was made by hand with love.
