The Apple Pickers are ‘the good people’ faerie folk plant spirit dolls created between the Solstice and Lughnasadh. They tend to the orchard and will help to tend to the life of their new keeper. The Faerie Spinner Doll is filled with lavender flowers and leaves from my garden. She is a spinner and has a spindle hand carved from Tasmanian sassafras wood tucked into her dress. Her eyes are made from labradorite beads and she wears the antlers of her kin the Deer. Her dress, hair and shawl are made from wool woven with silver and crimson thread with silk. She is a larger doll and is a magical companion, an altar doll or a doll that could hold space for a group. She was made by hand with love.
