Sacred Feminine

heart alchemy - healing the lineage

Stacia Napierkowska
Today I am creating a bespoke medicine doll for a seeker who wishes her doll to hold the spirit of Avalon. This morning I began gathering ferns and moss and oak leaves from a tree nearby. I will place an acorn in her hands - perhaps in a basket. I did a final walk to see what treasures were on the ground waiting for this doll and as I lay them out I began to feel what resonated for the doll and thought this is like alchemy, it is always a delicate balance of different plant and animal medicine. Some medicine feels distinctly feminine or masculine.
As I was laying out plants and feathers I received an email with the gift of the photo above of Stacia Napierkowska. The woman who sent it to me was in need of a session to heal the wound story of the lineage of women in her family. She remarked on how similar the photo felt to the card The Fferyllt representing the archetype Temperance in the Druidcraft Tarot. The Fferyllt were the Druid alchemists - creating the Sacred Marriage of balance between the Sacred Feminine and Masculine. We see this work here in the element of Water (in the cauldron) representing the Feminine and the Fire below as the Masculine.
This healing of the Sacred Union is such important work for us now. These wounds may come from your own experiences in this lifetime, from the lineage wound in your birth family, the collective unconscious or carried over from past lives. This heart alchemy will not only be a benefit to ourselves but also to the lineage of children to come and the ones who came before us. Ancestral healing teaches us that we are all linked - when one hurts, we all hurt - when one heals, we all feel the benefit of that release. To do this healing work for your lineage, family and community is a great gift. Sending love to all those finding the delicate balance of heart alchemy today.

Embracing Our Lilith Stories

Yesterday we gathered in Sherbrooke Forest to create a circle of magic and love to hold and embrace our own Lilith stories. Such beautiful stories they were, full of courage and honesty and wild beauty. Thank you to all of the sisters who joined us in the green heart of the forest, I feel such excitement to know you and see you embrace your own outcast sister, holding her to your heart once more.

The Lilith circles are limited to 13 women to ensure that we can journey deeply. For the sisters who missed out on a place, I will be holding this circle again on Saturday 9th November at Kumbada Studio in the Dandenongs.

Initiate yourself

Dear Woman

Woman,
You belong to the night.
You have blood on your thighs
and fuhrze in your hair.
You smell of loamy fertile soil.
Your breasts give life,
Your sex is a mystery school
leading to the holy of holies.

Turn your eyes inward.
Use owls' vision to see where you come from.
Slip beneath the surface,
and feel yourself become full.

Make a marriage to the moon.

Divorce the false gods of intellect and reason.
Find meaning in your dreams.
And in the secrets of your body.

Follow no authority -
But your own true nature.

Make a sacred fire.
And throw on it all that you would use to harm yourself.
Make kindling from shame.

Let your dance be wild.
Your voice be honest.
And your heart untamed.

Be cyclical.
Don't make sense.

Initiate yourself.
Initiate yourself.

Calling to the Sisters of the Sun

Return of the Medicine Women - Mt Tamborine, QLD

Swan Blessing: Femmina Unbound
Full price ticket: $150
Concession Ticket: $120

Dear Sisters of the Sun,

It has been over a year since my last journey to the mystic Mountain Tamborine and I welcome you to join me in ceremony and circle to reclaim the ancestral medicine of the wise woman : Swan Blessing - Femmina Unbound. This ceremony and workshop will be held at Grail Haven, Mt Tamborine on Oct 12th. I am honoured to hold space for the return of your medicine in this collective unbinding of Feminine Wisdom. On this day we will release and clear some of the strongest of past beliefs and vows : Vow of Silence, Vow of Obedience, Vow of Chastity with the intention of releasing the binds that tie the past histories of the Medicine Women, Shamans, Witches, Herbalists, Wise Women. By consciously releasing these sacred contracts from our spirits, our hearts, our voices and our bodies, we are opening up strong Dream Pathways for our Ancestors, the Grandmothers, to heal and reconnect the roots to our Ancestral Medicine again. These are our birthright gifts, we are ALLOWED.

The Medicine of Swan is the gift of Seership, Swan Blessing is an activation to open your own ability to be the Seer and experience shamanic vision. In Femmina Unbound you will journey back into the past to see your own binding spells - created by your own words in promise or vow and with great compassion release your spirit from them. You may also see back into the Mother Lands to understand and release the bindings carried in the lineage.

After embracing connection to our Ancestral Medicine we will engage in the shamanic practice of Medicine Doll creation. This doll will be made in the image of your 'dreaming self' - the otherwordly self that acts as a bridge to the ancestors and animal totems. Please bring a small sacred object to place inside your doll. You can read about Emily's personal experience of the process of creating her own spirit doll here.

Medicine Dolls

This day will be spent in the Deep, you may feel much emotion moving through you but the key is not to hold on to the wound to let it flow in the sacred water we will communing with at Grail Haven - a spring water sanctuary and holder of sacred energy on Mt Tamborine. Once released, this well of feeling will be replaced by your Medicine and your Love. we will be able to fully feel our majesty and our natural gifts of healing. With hearts full of love we will sing our spirits back to ourselves, performing Soul Retrieval and Initiating ourselves again into our wise medicine. With this love and power we will then perform together a ceremony of healing for our Sacred Earth, honouring the ancient Aboriginal Ancestors of the land.

Speak to your Ancestors, call to the Grandmothers - they are very aware of this journey we are making to our Medicine, they are so happy that we are returning. If you are feeling great resistance you are very welcome to book a session by Skype if you feel you need to before we meet on October 12th. I will also be holding a small amount of personal Swan Blessing sessions on the mountain in the days before the ceremony.

Oceans of love to you my medicine sisters,
you are free.

Medicine Women Return for the Magdalenes

Tonight I have opened this shamanic dreaming pool for the girls, the women, and the babies of the Magdalene Laundries / Asylum at Abbotsford Convent I have been asked by so many women if this workshop is open to everyone. YES! We are all worthy to be called Medicine Women. Each of us carries a sacred essence that is unique to our spirit, wise and powerful. Together we can perform such a deep collective healing at this site of previous female suffering. With our love and our voices, we will sing this site into a place to honour Feminine Wisdom.

Return Medicine Women - bring your love here.

Unveiling Lilith - Aisha Wolf

I have just discovered this potent poem by Aisha Wolf - beautiful TRUTH! I feel such synchronicity here as we open the dreaming well of Femmina Unbound - Medicine Women Return for the collective healing of ourselves and the sisters of the Magdalene Laundries at Abbotsford Convent. SHE is stirring, she is rising, she is unveiling...

Interview with Tammy Mae Moon:
Most of us knew our soul’s purpose better when we were children then we do as adults.  Three of my biggest loves as a child were mythology, anything having to do with mysticism or the occult, and drawing medieval women.  The first two loves I had to really search out as I grew up in a small Southern U.S. town where there were only two religions: Southern Baptist and Presbyterian.  My love for art was not nurtured and I never thought that becoming an artist was even an option for me growing up.
In college I studied antiquities and had planned to become an archaeologist, but instead I married another archaeologist and became a massage therapist after college.  I started to have a lot of psychic openings in my early twenties, and after being trained in Reiki I began to commune with the spirit guides of my massage therapy clients.  My own guidance led me to learn to draw these guides for my clients.  It took me two years before I felt confident enough to start doing this.  During those two years I reconnected with this deep yearning I have within, and have had since I was a child, to draw and create art.
Doing the spirit guide portraits was an interesting way to learn to do portraiture.  The sole purpose of doing those portraits was to manifest spirit into the physical.  I still feel this is the main purpose of my art today.  I would spend a lot of time on the eyes of the guides, as I really wanted people to feel like the eyes of the guides spoke to them.  People are always commenting on the eyes of the women in my paintings as if they are really alive.  We are so inundated with imagery in this modern world, and very rarely does it feel like it is filled with spirit.  I think that one consequence of the Modern art movement is that art has become more and more lifeless.  I feel it is very important for people to reconnect with art that is tangibly alive.
Along with drawing the guides, I would channel a lot of spiritual information for my clients.  This information was dominated by past life information.  The guides were usually people that my clients knew in a past life, or sometimes, were the clients themselves in a past life.  This was always intriguing to me as it showed that we truly are our own guides and reminds me of that old Native American saying
“We are the ones we are waiting for”.
My fascination with past lives grew as I did the readings, and I eventually got trained as a hypnotist and began doing past life regressions.  This helped me to journey into my own past lives and to uncover my own soul’s story.  I know I was a gifted artist in a few past lives, and that is why I was able to reconnect with this skill in this lifetime with no formal training.  I also uncovered the skill of reading tarot.  I was always a little frightened of tarot readings before discovering this.  I found a lifetime where I was tortured as a Romany gypsy and I was a tarot reader.
Today I am a busy mom of two and I have cut back on doing the readings.  What little time I have for myself I enjoy spending it painting.  I think creative energy is something that you channel up through your root chakra from the center of Gaia.  The more you open up to the energy the more it floods into your system.  Learning how to balance this creative energy is a struggle for every artist.  Images are constantly flooding into me and sometimes all I can think about is getting them out and onto the canvas.
My art is always centered on two themes, the sacred feminine and its connection to nature.  I work with a lot of mythological stories to show this connection.  I am most drawn to the ancient Irish myth, as I have a lot of past life connections there.  I am borderline obsessed with the stories of the Tuatha de danann and the Sidhe (the Irish name for faeries).  You will find in a lot of old Celtic lore the idea of the sovereign goddess.  She is the physical embodiment of the land or the earth.  She has to be treated with respect and nurtured for the land to be fertile.  In most myth the goddess herself is symbolic of the human psyche.  I feel there is a strong connection between the health of the human psyche and the environment.  When we have a balanced psyche the land will also be in balance.  This is the basic meaning behind the Beltane festival.  It was the coming together of the god and the goddess (the balancing of the male and female aspects of the psyche) to insure the fertility of the land.
One of my favorite teachers of myth, as I am sure he is many peoples favorite, is Joseph Campbell.  On many occasions he commented about how it was the role of the artist to create the myth of today.  One of my favorite quotes of his says: “Artist’s are magical helpers.  Evoking symbols and motifs that connect us to our deeper selves, they can help us along the heroic journey of our own lives.”  If I can help others on their soul’s heroic journey with my paintings, then I know I will be following my bliss.
